The 2016 Presidential Race will come to a close on November 8, 2016. In the meantime, while you decide for whom you are going to vote, it’s important that you learn the facts.Donald Trump, a partisan of the Republican Party- where to begin. He actually uses his career as a former reality television star as a means of persuading voters. He is extremely rude and insensitive, which is actually an understatement, towards PoC. Trump actually created a multi-week investigation about where President Obama was born (he was born in Honolulu, HI), and still questions it. He believes GLOBAL WARMING is fake. He also lied about economic growth and the “lack of jobs.” Do you really want this man as your president? Here are some details on the problematic statements listed above, and more:

HIS RUDENESS TOWARDS PEOPLE OF COLOR:

“the worst elements in Mexico are being pushed into the United States by the Mexican government.” -Trump // businessinsider.com

Need I say more? No, not really, he takes care of portraying himself as an idiot, but I will proceed anyways.

Trumps says that he thinks the Mexican government is deliberately “pushing the bad ones” into the U.S. He says they are “not our friends.” – businessinsider.com

His absurd immigration stance also stands strong. His plan is to deport millions of illegal immigrants, as well as terminate automatic citizenship for children in the U.S. birthed by foreigners. One Republican presidential candidate actually called him out on this plan, calling it bad policy and politics. Trump also wants to build a ridiculously large, permanent wall along the Mexican border, and to limit legal immigration.

NBC, Macy’s, Serta and Univision have all cut ties with Trump after his remarks about immigrants from Mexico.

“Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are little short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.” This is from a book written about Trump. When asked about this, he said it’s “probably true.”

HE BELIEVES GLOBAL WARMING IS FAKE:

Trump believes that since there are cold winters in the United States, global warming is a hoax. He is absolutely in denial about the idea of the earth’s temperature slowly rising.

Even if he hadn’t said anything about this, it is already known that he can’t really be counted on to agree with scientifically-proven information- which will become a problem if he is elected. These scientific finds are needed to pass public health policies, etc.

HE’S HELLA SEXIST, GROSS, AND A TAD MISOGYNISTIC:

Here are a few quotes, courtesy of bustle.com.

He told a female contestant on The Apprentice: “I bet you make a great wife.”

“I don’t think Ivanka would do that [pose for Playboy], although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.” Disgusting.

“Rosie O’Donnell is disgusting — both inside and out. If you take a look at her, she’s a slob. How does she even get on television? If I were running The View, I’d fire Rosie. I’d look her right in that fat, ugly face of hers and say, “Rosie, you’re fired.” We’re all a little chubby but Rosie’s just worse than most of us. But it’s not the chubbiness — Rosie is a very unattractive person, both inside and out.“

HE LIED ABOUT STATISTICS:

Trump said that until last quarter’s drop, economic growth has “never been below zero,” which is untrue; since 1946, it has been below zero 42 times.

While there were 5.4 million job openings at the end of last April (the most in 15 years), Trump still says “There are no jobs.”

Without any actual factual basis, he claimed that the “real” unemployment rate is “anywhere from 18-20%, maybe even 21%.”

There are many more examples, so many I really don’t want to list them all.

This is the man who is leading the Republican Polls, the man who might lead our country- Donald Trump, with his absurd ideas and fake statistics. He’s a problematic person, and we need to fight to make sure Trump doesn’t win the 2016 Presidential Election. Whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat, make sure you read a few articles that unveil Trump’s flaws in both his campaign and his ideas.

Make sure you know who you’re voting for.
