After pop-star Kesha’s request to drop her contract with Sony Music after being sexually and mentally abused by her record producer Lukasz Sebastian (Dr. Luke) was rejected, support for Kesha has been overwhelming from fans, celebrities, and regular people that know any form of abuse deserves some kind of justice. The record label and producer have been receiving continuous detestation from people all around the world that want Kesha to finally be free of her abuser. Our protests and prayers may have finally been answered because rumors are circling that Sony could possibly be dropping the abusive music producer. There are speculations that Adele might have something to do with this grand decision. At the 2016 Brit Awards during Adele’s acceptance speech, she used her 30 seconds of time to overtly show her support for Kesha.

“I’d like to take a quick second just to thank my manager and my record label for embracing the fact that I’m a woman and being encouraged by it,” Adele said clutching her award. Then, sounding as if she were slightly choked up, she continued, “And I would also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha.”

Kelly Clarkson’s coming out about her experience with Dr. Luke shocked us all on Marth 8th of this year, claiming that she was blackmailed and forced to work with the music manufacturer also. She shared her experience with Lukasz on Twitter.

“I only worked with him because, literally, I got blackmailed by my label. They were like, “We will not put your album out if you don’t do this,” she formerly alleged of the occurrence. “It was a really hard time for me.” The American Idol winner also stated, “Want to clarify that my current regime at @RCARecords is not the same one who forced me to work w/Dr. Luke, Peter Edge is rad & a good dude!” (Peter is the current chairman and CEO of RCA Records.) Many people have defended Dr. Luke after her allegations, saying that Kelly didn’t like his style of working. Still, she stands by her opinion and said, “Unfortunately, when you have that poor of character, like, so many artists don’t like you and don’t like working with you,” she claimed during her Kyle & Jackie O interview. “You know, that’s not normal. I get along with everybody I work with. He’s just not a good guy for me.” Dr. Luke and his supporters deny these rumors about him and Sony, saying that the producer and the company “have a great relationship.” We can only hope these so-called rumors are the truth.
