Being somebody who is obsessed with makeup, I seem to always be using new products all the time. It’s hard to ignore all the new things coming out weekly (trust me I’ve tried). But as I try new products and find different types of makeup that I love, there are some products that I just keep coming back to no matter what.
Now, as much as I’d love to, I can’t give you a list of every single product that I love. We would honestly be here all day, and ain’t nobody got time for that. Instead, below are my top 10 favorite makeup products that I own.

L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer
These concealers are EVERYTHING. Not only are they super affordable, but they are some of the best out there in my opinion. As somebody with dark circles and a pesky dark shadow above my lip, the orange corrector is my life-saver. It covers all dark marks on my skin before I apply my foundation. The concealers are perfect for highlighting and contouring. I use Mahogany to contour and a combination of Pure Beige and Toffee to highlight. When I want to be extra and have a bright highlight I just use Pure Beige. Also if you are somebody getting into freelance makeup these would be some good concealers to start off with and won’t break the bank.

Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional Face Primer
So ya girl got some big pores and an oily t-zone, so this primer is a MUST no matter what. When I tell you that this primer makes a difference, I’m not kidding. It not only fills in my pores underneath my eyes, but it immediately mattifies my t-zone. I only use this primer in the center of my face where I have the most issues.

Cruelty-Free: No; Because this brand sells in China where it is required by law to do animal-testing on imported products, Benefit Cosmetics is not considered a cruelty-free brand. A second option for a primer that is cruelty-free would be the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Face Primer.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Products
I need to take a moment of silence for these products……okay moment over. There is literally only one other brand that has brow products are good as these ones that will use. Nothing else compares. The shade range in the brow pomades and the powders is amazing. You can always find a color that either matches your brows exactly, or if you want to change up your color you can do that too. My brows are the one thing that always have to be on point and these products do that for me. I use the dipbrow pomade in the shade Ebony to outline my brows and fill in the tail end, and then I use the brow powder duo also in Ebony to fill in the rest of my brows for a more natural look. The tinted brow gel in Granite is also my go to setting gel to give my brows some extra color and set them in place. While her products are more on the pricey side, it is definitely worth it. A little goes a long way with these items.

Morphe 35B pro palette
I LOVE this palette you guys. LOVE. I know the 35O is one of the most popular Morphe palettes, and I do have that one also, but as somebody who does the most with their eye makeup, the 35B is my main. It is one of the few colorful palettes I have that 1)has a variety of different colors 2)is very pigmented and 3) blends out so well. Any time I’m doing a colorful look, this is the first palette I will grab to see if it has all the colors I want to use. If you do not have this palette you need it in your life. And honestly and Morphe palette you buy is worth it. They are inexpensive and great for beginners and more experience makeup users. Sidenote: Morphe Brushes Cosmetics is also a great place to buy quality brushes for a inexpensive price!

Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Foundation
Aside from having my eyebrows on point, I am obsessed with making sure my foundation matches my skin perfectly. And this foundation does that. The Fit Me foundation has a Matte+Poreless formula and a Dewy+Smooth formula to pick from. If you have combination/oily skin like I do, the Matte+Poreless formula is it for you. Not only does it match my skin tone perfectly, but it also doesn’t look orange or gray on my skin and it doesn’t crease on me. It literally looks like I have no foundation on when I wear it. My shade: 355 Coconut

Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme
Now this is one of those products that you honestly don’t have to have. And in my case, because I have fairly full lips I definitely could do without it. But as you’ve probably guessed by now, I’m extra as hell so I like to make my lips look even more plump than usual. This stuff WORKS. I’ve tried some other plumping glosses and products, but none of them do as good of a job as this one. It definitely tingles when you apply it to your lips but it’s not painful. I would necessarily call this an everyday product, but I do my makeup a lot and take pictures, so I use it quite frequently.

Maybelline Shine-Free Loose Powder
This is without a doubt the best inexpensive powder I’ve ever used to set my undereye and highlighted areas. I’ve tried so many translucent and banana colored powders that either caused flashback, or were too light for my skin tone, and when I found this one…..my day was made. It doesn’t make my skin look ashy or too bright, and it blends into the skin perfectly. I use this powder in the shade Medium (there are only two shades for this powder) so if you are blessed with high levels of melanin, this powder could work for you.

Colourpop Lippie Pencils
There are so many different options for lip liners out there, but these are my favorite. This lip liners are so inexpensive ($5 per pencil), they are super creamy and pigmented and they stay on my lips all day. These liners are available in so many different colors, that sometimes it’s hard to pick which one to wear. If I had to pick my favorite lipliners from Colourpop, I would definitely choose Kae, BFF3, Grunge, TooLips and Ellarie.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Because I have pretty long lashes, I don’t wear false eyelashes very often (they also take me forever to get on) so I need a mascara that makes my lashes really stand out. Out of all the mascaras that I own, this one is my favorite. It doesn’t make my lashes clumpy, it lengthens them and separates them. If there is any high-end mascara needed in your life, this one is it. I have forgotten all other mascaras exist.

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Powder
This face powder is absolutely without a doubt my favorite. It doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, and gives enough color to give some extra coverage. Not only do I use it to set my foundation, I also use it to help brush off excess powder from baking my highlighted areas. This prevents me from having any flashback. My face never gets oily or creases when I use this powder. My shade: 95 Coconut

Honorable Mention: Colourpop Super Shock Cheek highlighters
I think I need another moment of silence for these………alright, I’m good. I couldn’t leave you guys without mentioning these highlighters. These days, almost every brand that I know of has cream and powder highlighters. And since I like for my highlight to be seen from across the street, I layer 2-3 highlighters on my face. Excessive? Probably. But I like looking all glowy. These highlighters are my favorite cream highlighters HANDS DOWN. They can either be worn alone, or you can use them in combination with a powder highlighter, which is what I do 99% of the time. Colourpop highlighters are so creamy and pigmented, and they have shades to fit every skin tone. At $8 per highlighter, you really should have some of these in your collection. My go-to shades for this highlighter are Avalon, Stole the Show, Butterfly Beach, Glo Up and Churro. Go get you some highlighters and join the ‘glazed donut’ club.

Cruelty-Free: Yes

So there you have it! My condensed list of favorites. Keep in mind, some of these products that work for me, may not work for you. We all have different skin types and tones, and not everything is compatible with everyone. If you guys have any makeup products that you absolutely love, let me know! I love trying new things, and maybe I’ll have a new favorite to add to my list.
