Finally. Only two weeks until this election cycle is finally over! That’s only 14 days! We have all waited so long for this day to come. This campaign season has brought some bizarre, eye-roll-worthy moments. From Trump beginning his campaign by calling Mexicans “rapists” and “murderers” to Senator Bernie Sanders’ disappointing loss against Hillary Clinton to tapes being released of Trump joking about sexually assaulting women, how could anyone blame us for wanting this horrid sh*t storm of political corruptness and absurdities to be over?
Honestly, why even wait two weeks to end it? Can’t we just call the race right now? It’s not like Donald Trump’s odds are looking good; in fact, a recent ABC News tracking poll shows him a whopping 12 points behind Hillary, and no candidate has ever come back from a deficit that large in this short amount of time. Hillary (regardless of how you feel about her) is inevitably going to snatch the presidency, so can we just call this presidential election over now and eliminate any potential headaches that we might be given in the next two weeks?
The best part of the election season almost being over is that Donald Trump will finally go back to being an irrelevant, bitter, sexist, and misogynistic asshole after he loses! He’s already been the latter three, but he’ll finally go back to being the first. The sooner that happens, the sooner we can continue as Americans to build our country to be the best it can be!
