Introducing The Next Generation Of Leaders And Thinkers

To Female Celebrities, Stop Setting Unrealistic Body Expectations

For decades, most young women strived to be as thin as they possibly could be. Things have changed a little in recent years. Due to thicker women in the media being glamorized, women have been eating more and doing countless “squat challenges” to achieve larger glutes. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It is actually something positive as less women are starving themselves to become thin.

However, many of these young women are setting unrealistic body goals for themselves. They wish to become like stars who’s bodies have been altered or fitness models who are posing and flexing in all of their images. It is true that you can sculpt your body however you want in the gym, but that doesn’t mean you are going to walk around with a six-pack 24/7. It is okay to get bloated and it is okay to have off days.

There are some people who idolize the plastic surgery celebrities, and there are others who follow the instagram fitness models. In the middle, there are those who strive to be like Khloe Kardashian. Khloe Kardashian’s weight loss has been all over magazines and the internet during the past few years. She was always considered bigger than her older sisters, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, but she was able to commit to the gym and get her dream body.

Nevertheless, it seems as Khloe’s body may not be completely natural. Many people on Twitter made comments about her butt to thigh ratio and how it is unrealistic. It is true that you can grow your glutes at the gym, but those exercises also work your legs. There are many workouts that work your glutes but they also either target your quads or hamstrings. It is highly unlikely that Khloe could have grown her glutes without having more muscular legs.

Khloe is amazing for committing to the gym and getting her “revenge body”. If she did get plastic surgery to alter certain body parts, there is nothing wrong with that.

However, it is important for young women to realize that they shouldn’t feel inferior if they do not have that body.

You can also change your body and become the best version of yourself. Do not set unrealistic body expectations for yourself and only focus on yourself. If you want to hit the gym everyday, you can. If you want plastic surgery, go for it. Just remember, your mental health is just as important as your physical health.
