To the world leaders of America’s allies,
I know that right now our country, the United States, seems to be heading down the wrong path. Our country seems to be falling apart, with protests every single day and deep political divisions on issues. Our President, the literal twenty-first century Hitler, is barely in his second week in office and has already betrayed all of America’s values, morals, and common ideologies.
I understand that, right now, the best thing to do would be to simply leave the United States alone. For your reputations as leaders of democracy, the ideal mechanism would be to simply reject his ideas and wait until we elect a new President in 2020. But, on behalf of the nearly sixty-five million Americans who voted for the most qualified woman in American history, I’m asking you to please stick with us.
Right now, more than ever, our nation needs people to speak out against Mr. Cheeto and his horrendous ideas. The American people can only do so much to stop and reject his ideas. For him to be truly stopped our protests and cries for resistance must be meet with strong, powerful voices. A press statement or two against Trump is not enough anymore. We need you to vocalize your firm and utter disapproval of what Trump says and we need you to support the efforts of “We the people” to end Trump’s tyrannical reign.
Mr. Trump does not represent America or what we stand for. Tens of millions of people voted for togetherness and solidarity. Trump’s mistakes have brought us even closer. Right now we need all the help we can get.
Don’t be afraid to challenge our President. Don’t be afraid to speak out against him. Don’t be afraid to show your support for the American people protesting every day. Don’t be afraid to be what America should be.
Prime Minister Trudeau, Prime Minister May, First Minister Sturgeon, Prime Minister Turnbull, Chancellor Merkel, President Nieto, President Hollande, and other leaders of the free world: do not forget about us. We, the majority of Americans, stand for love, diversity, acceptance, democracy, etc. We are not Trump and he is not us.
