Old, and irrelevant singer, Rod Stewart, who used to make okay music several decades ago, apparently thought it was amusing to ‘reenact’ an ISIS style beheading, while on vacation with his wife and friends. The video, which was uploaded and posted on Instagram by his wife, Penny Lancaster, has since been taken down as people have called it “wildly offensive” and “in poor taste”, as it trivializes all of the people that have lost their lives to the terrorist group.
Sir Rod Stewart, it seems that England must knight anyone, really, is seen standing behind the man as he kneels in the dunes, before making a slicing motion across his neck. They were in Abu Dhabi for a concert, and were traveling around before the show.
While they uploaded several other pictures at the time, they don’t seem to realize that mimicking the deaths of people at the hands of terrorists, is not hilarious at all. It’s really interesting to see, that non Muslim, white people find it hilarious to mock the suffering of mostly non-white people being targeted by ISIS, as most of the victims of ISIS have been Muslim, and most victims of terrorists worldwide are Muslims.
According to a study by the U.S., Muslim people have suffered between 82-97% of terrorist fatalities in the last five years.Mocking people for being murdered, is not only ignorant, it’s cruel. People are being actively targeted by ISIS, and Rod Stewart, leaving out the Sir, because he doesn’t deserve it, thinks it’s fun to mock the victims.
Rod Stewart has issued a statement about the video, saying, “We were simply larking about pre-show. Understandably, this has been misinterpreted and I send my deepest apologies to those who have been offended.” In the same statement he mentioned they’d acted out a few things, including, Game of Thrones and Abbey Road. He also offered no explanation to how it was “misinterpreted” and what he was actually doing, but expects people to take his half baked apology and forget about it.
Apparently the out of touch, old crone, thinks mocking actual people targeted by terror organizations is on the same level as playing out a Beatles cover, and imitating a fantasy TV show.It just further shows that most white people are so painfully out of touch, they don’t even think twice about showing the whole world how ignorant and hateful they are, or the fact that the dehumanize people at any chance they get.
It also speaks to the fact that even if someone is Knighted, it doesn’t mean they’re any kind of good person at all, and probably just sold a ton of cheap pop songs, a million years ago. It’s time for everyone, mostly the last of his old fan base that’s still living to let him fade into the obscurity that he deserves.
