Stop Mixing Family Into Politics

It has come to my attention and probably millions of other people that there are some people on the President of the United States team who are unqualified. One being his daughter, Ivanka Trump.

Ivanka Trump is simply a business woman. She graduated from Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with a degree in economics. Ivanka is a former model, and she’s got her own line of clothing, handbags and footwear. In addition to this, she serves as Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions at The Trump Organization.

Ivanka Trump truly has an expansive portfolio in her father’s administration as well as her husband, Jared Kushner who acts as the senior advisor to President Donald Trump, also not qualified to be in such a role. Both of these individuals are very smart and educated but let’s not mix in the family when it comes to politics especially when they are not qualified and haven’t been elected to be in such a role.

Ivanka Trump, an unqualified individual has been in some situations where her presence is not of any relevance. Ivanka briefly took her father’s seat at the G20 summit on July 8th in Hamburg. Ivanka last week said, “I try to stay out of politics” but this is also a person who is the official “unpaid” advisor to the President of the United Stares and someone who was seated with global leaders as an equal at the G20 summit.

The first daughter was spotted slipping into Trump’s seat at a working session on “Partnership with Africa, Migration and Health,” putting her shoulder to shoulder with British Prime Minister Theresa May. Russian President Vladimir Putin was sitting one seat down.

She entered the session with her father but “briefly joined the main table when the President had to step out,” a spokesperson for the first daughter said.

Zerlina Maxwell, former director of progressive media for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, told MSNBC: “It’s completely inappropriate. What qualifications and experience does Ivanka Trump have in her background that should put her at the table with world leaders like Theresa May and Vladimir Putin? Literally a foot over from Vladimir Putin. This just goes to, I think, the level of inherent corruption in this administration.”

There were a lot of online responses to Ivanka taking her father’s seat briefly at the G20 summit.

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are individuals who should not have any type of formal role within the White House. Let’s not mix family into politics especially when they’re both unqualified and unelected individuals who hold very important roles.
