It’s official. The Weinstein Company is now set for failure. The film producer is facing tons of allegations of sexual abuse, including rape, but the film producer denies non-consensual sex.
The lawsuit claims that Weinstein abused female employees and made threats to kill staff members.
A lawyer for the obvious, red-handed producer has expressed “a fair investigation” would display that many of the allegations and claims were unfaithful.
In a statement to The Wall Street Journal, the company’s board director responded: “Many of the allegations relating to the Board are inaccurate and the Board looks forward to bringing the facts to light as part of its ongoing commitment to resolve this difficult situation in the most appropriate way.”
The company’s board fired Harvey Weinstein in October after the New York Times reports alleging decades of sexual misconduct and abuse.
Justice should be rightly served when it comes to Harvey’s victims, but unfortunately, a rich white man in society is placed high on the societal pedestal, therefore, it can take quite a long to reach a place where justice truly prevails.
