Something that has been axiomatic for almost the entirety of the election has just now been “revealed” to the general public: Russia was heavily involved with Donald Trump’s election and wanted to help him win. The CIA asserts that the thousands of hacked emails from those connected to the Democratic National Convention (including Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager) were hacked by “individuals as actors known to the intelligence community and part of a wider Russian operation to boost Trump and hurt Clinton’s chances”.

The CIA concluded that Russia worked to elect Trump. Republicans now face an impossible choice.

It is unclear whether or not Donald Trump will or will not be allowed into office as a result of the information that has just surfaced. Americans now await a decision on their fate: is America truly doomed? Is Russia’s involvement in Trump’s election success enough to put an end to the reign of terror created by Trump supporters and Trump himself?
With this sentiment having been shared by a majority of Americans throughout the presidential race, it is no wonder that the CIA has assessed Russia’s involvement in the election to be heavy, even as Donald Trump denied any Russian involvement himself.
The Trump Transition Team gave this statement:
“These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. The election ended a long time ago in one of the biggest Electoral College victories in history. It’s now time to move on and ‘Make America Great Again’ .”
