Have you ever noticed that when Donald Trump retweets a compliment someone gave him, he doesn’t actually retweet it? Instead, he restates the compliment in quotation marks. Sometimes he’ll add a phrase or word, but most of the time, his tweets are just awkward, re-framed versions of other tweets.

To anyone who understands how Twitter works, this may seem a little…weird. What happens when one does a little more exploration into the background of tweets like these?
Well, further research concludes that the account @drgoodspine hasn’t actually ever tweeted anything. Also, it was created in January of 2017. That seems more than a little suspicious, but maybe a random intern created a fake account so Donald could pat himself on the back. That’s not very presidential, but honestly, we have bigger problems to worry about at this point.
Unfortunately, this weird and narcissistic lie is not a one-time event. The American comedy site Cracked.com put out a video today talking about the many other compliments Trump has “retweeted” that have come from fake accounts. They also have two articles out about the strange phenomenon that is Trump’s Twitter.
According to Cracked (and anyone that bothers to do five seconds of research), not only is Trump’s account a swampy cesspool of childish arguments and hateful comments, almost all of his self-promoting “retweets” come from accounts run by Nazis, or accounts that were just created. Obviously, Trump and his team have been making fake accounts so the so-called president can cheer himself on.
Cracked also pointed out that Trump has only ever liked 46 tweets. I encourage everyone to go to the @realDonaldTrump account right now to view those tweets. The selection is a little…odd.

That’s right—Donald Trump likes his own tweets. But that isn’t the weirdest find; some of the tweets he’s liked are completely random. Here are two examples:

What? What is happening right now? That woman is an essential oils saleswoman. Trump doesn’t even follow her account.
There are a lot of things we can do with this information. We can acknowledge the fact that the POTUS is an obvious narcissist and continue to protest him. We can also give him the benefit of the doubt; he’s an old man, he probably just doesn’t know how Twitter works.
There are much bigger problems with the Trump administration for us to be worried about. However, these tweets do prove that not only is the so-called leader of the free world incredibly unqualified, he can’t even figure out a social media website.
