Child Rapist for President?

Recently, a lawsuit against Donald Trump for the rape of an underage girl from the 90s has resurfaced in a Manhattan federal court. The allegation is that Trump and Jeffrey Epstein sexually assaulted the young girl, who was thirteen at the time, at multiple Manhattan sex parties Epstein hosted in 1994. This lawsuit was dismissed by a Los Angeles Federal Court judge last month, but it now has a new lawyer and is being brought back into the light.

A few of the charges have been dropped, such as that Trump gave the girl money for an abortion when she feared that she would get pregnant and that Trump called Jeffrey Epstein, the other accused rapist, a “Jew bastard”. The woman has also dropped her request for $100 million in damages. The original allegation still stands though, that Trump and Epstein sexually assaulted this girl in 1994. Details of the allegations include Trump forcing her to preform oral sex and to engage in “an unnatural lesbian sex act” with a twelve year old girl.

In the affidavit the woman stated, “Immediately following this rape, Defendant Trump threatened me that, were I ever to reveal any of the details of Defendant Trump’s sexual and physical abuse of me, my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed”. She also claimed that Trump’s campaign has subjected her to “daily painful reminders of the horrific acts”.

Regarding the original lawsuit, Trump stated, “The allegations are not only categorically false, but disgusting at the highest level and clearly framed to solicit media attention or, perhaps, are simply politically motivated. There is absolutely no merit to these allegations. Period.” While there is not much evidence surrounding this case, Trump’s past and present attitudes and behavior lead us to believe that this woman is telling the truth. From bragging about bedding married women to constantly commenting on his daughter’s sex appeal and even defending Bill Clinton during his sex scandals in the 90s, Trump’s behavior when it comes to sex and sex scandals is not helping his case.

Jeffrey Epstein does not have a very good history either, as he is a registered sex offender. He pleaded the fifth when asked if he had ever socialized with Trump in the presence of females under the age of eighteen and even Trump said, “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it- Jeffrey enjoys his social life.” Epstein has also been accused of keeping women as “sex slaves” for himself and his friends, including Donald Trump. He, like many other wealthy scumbags, kept a little black book of his clients and friends. When it was taken by the FBI, there were fourteen numbers for Trump even though his attorney claimed he has no relationship with Epstein.

Everyone knows that this case will not go far because of our society’s tendency to push the issue of rape under the carpet, especially when it involves a wealthy, white male, but if Trump’s racist, sexist, homophobic, abelist, and Islamophobic attitudes didn’t already have your back turned against him, a possible (and very likely) rape case should. No one should want a possible child rapist as their next president, as this further pushes the disgusting stigma that rape is okay if you can pay your way out of it. I, for one, do not want to grow up in a world where rape is okay, especially for the President of the United States, and neither should you.
