Introducing The Next Generation Of Leaders And Thinkers

President Obama: The Ugly Truth

Barack Obama. Whenever you hear his name you think possibly America’s coolest ever (and also first ever black) president who brings some of our favourite rappers and comedians to the white house, e.g. J Cole, Kendrick Lamar and so on. The president who is most up to date on all of pop culture, the one who fires shots at people who talk trash about people and the one who let a comedian say the N word on stage. In all he seems like the perfect president for the American youth and youth all over the world. But in reality, the president Obama’s term as president could possibly be one of the worst in the 21st century. Put aside his great sense of humour and his sassy comebacks at Donald Trump and the rest and really think about what he’s done. Everyone knows Donald Trump right? Wants to ban all Muslims and deport all Mexicans and so on. Well while Mr. Trump talks the talk about deportation President Obama actually walks the walk as the Obama administration has deported more immigrants than any other president in American history.

According to data on another article on fusion.net Since coming to office in 2009, Obama’s government has deported more than 2.5 million people—up 23% from the George W. Bush years and according to government data Obama is now on pace to deport more people than the sum of all 19 presidents who governed the USA from 1892-2000. Some people might think that this is a good thing for America because overpopulation, immigrants taking our jobs blah blah blah but its honestly very hypocritical to deport immigrants from a country built on the stolen land of the Native Americans, so in truth the immigrants aren’t stealing American jobs when Americans stole the entire country. These immigrants are not coming to America to steal anything from anyone these people are human beings just like us who are running away from violence (caused by the USA themselves if I may add) in central America and are only doing what us humans would do in such a situation.

Did you know that under Obama alone there have been 491 drone strikes in Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen which wouldn’t be such a bad thing if the strikes were killing the terrorists they were intended to kill however according to the Washington Times Obama-led drone strikes kill innocent civilians 90% of the time which means an actual success rate of just 10% and this is due to the lack of intelligence capability the US has in those countries and so basically America Is playing pin the tail on the donkey except it isn’t a pin its drones and it isn’t a donkey its actual innocent lives. The government claims that this is America trying to protect freedom and all the generic nonsense you hear. When people are asked what the biggest threat to world peace is you’d assume ISIS right? Wrong. According to a poll carried out by WIN/Gallup which questioned different people in over 65 countries 24% of the people chose the USA and Pakistan (which is currently being bombed by the USA) came in second which a whopping 8% and even some of the American allies like Australia chose them as the biggest threat to world peace.

According to the Huffington Post the level of poverty in America has broken a 50 year record under president Obama with about 50 million Americans living below the poverty line. 50 MILLION people. The population of the UK alone is 64.1 million and the American population is 318.9 million which means about 15% of the population suffers from poverty defined in 2012 with an annual income of $23,492 for a family of four. All this happens while America spends about $17 million on just one General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper,

And so, to the Americans who glorify Mr. Obama I really want you to see past him as a person and look at him as a president who has been very inefficient and assisted in murdering countless civilians. I know he broke history by being the first black president but is it really worth the lives of thousands of people?

And Mr.Obama we understand you endure a lot of stress and pressure as president and I would too if I had that much blood on my hands.
