Since House Republicans failed to pass a healthcare reform bill, the schedule is very different from the last. The President has already stated in a press conference that the GOP will now focus its efforts on tax reform, however, a debate for that is not to start until later. Here is what Congress voting on this week:
H.R 654: This bill would require FEMA to start planning early and install earthquake and Tsunamis warning systems in the NorthWest
S.J Resolution 34: “a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rule that imposes limits on broadband providers’ ability to access and collect consumer information like app usage, web searches, and communications content.”
At the end of the week, the House will debate the Honest Act and whether or not the EPA should be restricted from using science that is not publicly available. More bills could also be added towards the end of the week
Treaty 114-12: a vote to allow Montenegro into NATO
