As if ex-DNC chairwoman, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, couldn’t have had a crazier summer… it just got crazier. Seth Rich, a twenty-seven-year-old DNC staffer, was shot dead near his home in Washington, DC on July 11. However, recently this story has been getting a lot more buzz, as WikiLeaks, the website that leaked the thousands of hidden emails from the DNC about how they sabotaged Bernie Sanders’ campaign, has suggested that Rich may have been the staffer that leaked the emails.
WikiLeaks is offering a $20,000 reward to anyone who can give information on who was responsible for the murder of Seth Rich. Julian Assange, WikiLeaks co-founder, suggests that if Rich was the one to leak the emails, he may have been killed over it. Moreover, WikiLeaks refuses to comment on whether or not Rich released the emails.
This is where it gets stranger. Police released a statement saying Rich may have been the target of an armed robbery, however, he still had his watch, his phone, all of his money and his credit cards in his pocket, when he was shot.
After WikiLeaks made a statement, hinting Rich to be a ‘source’ for the leaked emails, the death of Seth Rich took social media by storm. People began to hold the DNC and the Clinton family responsible for the murder of Seth Rich. WikiLeaks will not release any more statements until someone comes forward with more information.
