Six time Grammy award winning, Golden Globe winning, Academy Award nominee Lady Gaga just announced Thursday night on her Twitter account that she will headline the 2017 Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017.

Gaga has three consecutive number 1 albums on the Billboard Hot 100 and was also recently featured as Billboard’s “Woman of the Year”. Her newest single, “Perfect Illusion”, out now, debuted at number 1 on iTunes in 60 countries. Her fifth studio album “Joanne” is set to be released on Oct. 21. In total she has garnered 30 million global album sales and 150 million singles sales which puts her on the list of best-selling musicians of all time.
On Sunday, Oct. 2, the FOX NFL Sunday Pregame Show will exclusively interview the star to get an inside look at what she is planning on doing for her halftime show.
Gaga has already performed once on the Super Bowl stage, singing the National Anthem at the 2016 Super Bowl.
In just a short while, Gaga will join the list of esteemed halftime performers, among the likes of Coldplay, Beyoncé, Madonna, The Who, Prince, Paul McCartney and more.
