Dear ‘friend,’
I have always supported you. I was always there for you. I don’t think it’s crazy to expect that back. Yes, I do respect different opinions. No, I don’t care if you have more Republican values. Yes, I understand that you don’t trust Hillary. I still don’t think I’m being unreasonable.
I am a minority. You know that. You know Trump doesn’t like people like me. By supporting him, you remove your support for me. You’re supporting him taking away my rights. That’s not okay.
I try my best to respect your opinion, even when I disagree. I listen to your reasoning, but when you won’t even admit how awful Trump is you no longer deserve my respect. When you are a bigot you no longer deserve my respect. When you support a candidate to seem like a ‘country girl,’ you no longer deserve my respect. When you support a racist, homophobic, and sexist rapist you no longer deserve my respect. Please, be a real friend and don’t vote for someone who will tear my rights away.
