Tomi Lahren has reportedly been permanently banned from conservative network TheBlaze. She was initially suspended for a week after announcing she is pro-choice on The View.
“Glenn is reminding the world of his conservative principles by sidelining Tomi after she insulted conservatives by calling them hypocrites,” an insider told Page Six.
“He’s trying to balance being a leading conservative thinker and also someone who can unify the country… He just couldn’t sit by and watch as Tomi Lahren said there’s no way for conservatives to justify anything other than being pro-choice.”
Lahren, who is known for her “final thoughts” segment on the network, became a popular conservative opinionist during the 2016 presidential election.
On her appearance on The View, Lahren said, “I am someone that’s for limited government… So I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government, but I think the government should decide what women should do with their bodies.”
Her position on abortion seems like a contradiction when just last year, she compared pro-choice women to “straight up baby killers” on her show.
It has been rumored that Ms. Lahren will join Fox News if she leaves TheBlaze.
