I recently came across Drive For Justice, a team of volunteers who are making their mark and raising awareness of issues that are ignored in England. The issue of the genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Burmese Muslims in Rohingya is something that shouldn’t be ignored, so this Sunday, September 17th at 1:30pm, this particular group of people are conducting a huge demonstration at the Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester.
I attended one of the meetings earlier this week and I learned about the awful atrocities taking place in Rohingya and what we can do to stop them. The main priority of Drive For Justice is to raise awareness of the disgusting acts of genocide happening. This can be summed up by their slogan “Silence Is A War Crime.” If nothing is done about what is happening in Rohingya, the number of casualties will continue to increase.

Drive For Justice have previously been involved in protests for Palestine and raising awareness of Israeli terror, but they are expecting a massive turnout for this demonstration in particular. George Galloway, a well-known Scottish politician is to speak at this demonstration. Jeremy Corbyn, leader of the Labour Party in Britain, has also spoken about his support for Drive For Justice.
Drive For Justice are desperate for volunteers. While they already have around 200-250 people volunteering, more are needed, especially since the demonstration is taking place in such a large city.
