Introducing The Next Generation Of Leaders And Thinkers

Kylie Lip Kit Cruelty-Free Dupes

All products listed here are cruelty free.

Since many people enjoyed and benefited from the KyShadow dupes article, I thought I would write another for the Kylie Lip Kit since Kylie Jenner is releasing three more new colours in a week.

Kylie’s kits are arguable only popular for her brand name. They go out of stock with every release in a few minutes, despite having many other dupes in the makeup market. I am not saying this without having actually trying the kits. I’ve tried Candy K it felt drying on my lips and it had very minimal lasting power.
So when the time comes and Jenner releases a colour you’ve been longing for, check out these dupes first.

Colourpop is quickly becoming a cult favourite. Though they have been around for several years, they only really soars to popularity when the Kylie Lip Kits came around. They suspiciously have a very similar formula to the lip kits, just with a lot more options. They now ship worldwide so you can get your hands on them with even more ease than the Kylie lipsticks because they don’t run out of stock so easily and they are significantly less pricey. They have a soft and pigmented formula and a relatively long lasting power, however reapplication might be necessary especially after eating.

NYX is probably one of the best current drugstore brands. They offer a wide variety of makeup used and loved by amateurs and artists alike. Their suede lipsticks are very reminiscent of liquid lipsticks, even Kylie’s. They have a softer feel to them, but they are still very long lasting. They come in many colours, including the out of the box colours Kylie offers like black and blue.

I haven’t personally tried these, but I’ve seen many positive reviews for them. Milani is inspired by Milan’s fashion. Milan is one of the world’s fashion capitals so you could expect a lot of diversity within the brand. These liquid lipsticks come in many staple lip colours fitting for all skin tones. They are opaque and don’t need building up and will put a fight while removing them.

I have still yet to try these liquid lipsticks too, but I love Morphe. Though they are more pricey than the other ones, these liquid lipsticks are just beautiful. They come in colours more original than Kylie’s Lipkits by a long shot. These are for the people ready to experiment with their makeup while looking for affordable and original products. I also always condone supporting independent brands because they care for the costumer unlike bigger money hungry corporations.
