Introducing The Next Generation Of Leaders And Thinkers

Stop Making Stupid People Famous, How ‘Bout Dah?

By now, we’ve all seen or heard about the red-headed thirteen-year-old who went on Dr. Phil for giving her mother a hard time. It is a fairly amusing video because it’s hard to believe that someone would publicly humiliate themselves like that and be so proud of it. This video has turned into memes, other videos, and even music. Thought, instead of being punished for her horrid behavior, she’s being rewarded. She’s now friends with big celebrities, there’s a tutorial on how to get her look, and has her own brand. There are hundreds, thousands, millions of other people doing amazing things and never get recognized for it, and yet, here’s this young girl who really needs to be in school or at least therapy, who is famous for being a pain in the ass.

On Dr. Phil she literally said:

“I don’t behave, I’m disrespectful, I steal cars. I ain’t gone lie, ain’t nobody gone catch me.”

All with a pretty little smile on her face.

Recently, the Fine Brothers posted a College Kids React To Catch Me Outside Meme Compilation where they spoke about its exploitation and bullying because she’s thirteen. I thought: It’s unfair that people are using her for their own entertainment and profit, although, she and her mother were fully aware of the repercussions before they went on the show. Now I feel nothing but irritation that we keep hyping up mediocrity and stupidity.

Instagramers, @lelepons and @anwar, recently made a video with the young demon, who now has 2.6 million followers. What really pushed me over the edge is that grown adults are encouraging this young girl and her destructive behavior.

Stop making stupid people famous. She does not deserve anything but a really good butt-whooping. If anything, her mother should be given a medal of honor because that child is still alive. We need a round of applause for Momma red-head for continuing to care for and love a child like that. Lord knows my mother wouldn’t have done it.

I don’t know her personally, maybe she has a really great personality, maybe she has ambitions and goals and she just acts out every now and then. We’ve all been there. But we shouldn’t praise her and reward her because of her poor behavior. By doing that, we let young children know that it’s ok to misbehave, it’s ok to disrespect themselves and others, as long as they’re doing it to get famous. C’mon society, we can do better than that.
