It’s official, Girl Meets World is being cancelled after only three seasons. To mourn the loss of such a well-written and well-cast show, here are five of my favorite Girl Meets World moments.
Riley Giving Farkle A Menorah To Show Her Support Of His Newfound Heritage
This scene was so special to me, especially after Zay and Farkle realize that both of them have a history that they may never know much about. It really showed how awesome Riley was and how much she loved her friends.

Maya Getting Hit With A Door, Josh Missing Home, And Little Maya And Riley Playing Keep-Away
This scene doesn’t seem like much, but it was so fun to watch as each of these kids (and Josh) continued to grow up in ways none of them really expected.
Smackle and Farkle Being Cute (And Awkward)
There’s so much in this episode that makes me happy, but this scene right here takes it all. The fact that Farkle feels comfortable enough to tell Smackle about his worries and Smackle feels comfortable enough around him to hold his hand.
Riley Sleeps Over At Maya’s Place For The First Time
I’ve always had a special connection with Maya’s character, especially the dynamic she has with her mom, being poor, and not having a father figure. This, however, is one of my favorite moments. Not everyone is able to appreciate the neighborhood I come from but to see Riley realize that there is beauty everywhere, even in the places we don’t understand, makes me love this show even more.
Maya And Shawn Finding Happiness With Each Other
I really do love Shawn and Maya, more so than I love Shawn, Maya and Katie together. I know what it feels like to have someone be a father to you after not having one for so long, and I can guarantee it makes you want to cry. This is such a nice and honest relationship between two people who don’t have the best relationship with their families and yet they still manage to make a good family to one another.
